Contingency
Is a No Win, No fee approach to executive search where only if the candidate represented by the recruiter is selected by the client is there a fee. This is a more a first to post methodology and more a mass market approach. An excellent choice for mid-level roles where you have multiple positions available to fill and can be serviced across to many clients. There is no exclusivity to the client.
Retained
This approach is more suited for senior and executive management or specialized roles that require a more rigorous approach with an agreed methodology. Usually, however not always the case where there is a time bound requirement or discrete / confidential approach. This solution guarantees exclusivity where the calibers of the candidates are at the top end and scarce.
